In Atlanta, the Black Parents Forum began with three schools in 1998 . Today the event has grown to 50+ schools each year from around the country and over 500 parents attending annually.
In Atlanta, the Black Parents Forum began with three schools in 1998 . Today the event has grown to 50+ schools each year from around the country and over 500 parents attending annually. Its imperative that ALL families explore the best option to educate their children. A private school education should be one of those options. Our goal is to provide parents the opportunity to explore the ins and outs of applying to and succeeding in independent (private) schools.
The Black Parents Forum will return to the Atlanta and Houston areas in 2012. Great Day of Learning Conferences in the Atlanta Metro Area (East and West) with Workshops, School Recruitment Fair and Resource Rooms.
Several BPF Workshops have been developed for parents to learn more about private school education.
The BPF School Recruitment Fair will have both day and boarding schools from across the country. See the growing list below.
Returning this year will be the BPF Resource Room with great programs for parents to use to help their children make a successful transition to independent school life.
ALL PARENTS MUST REGISTER FOR WORKSHOPS. Pre-registered parents will be seated first and at the time of the workshop.

Our daughter got into our first choice of schools! About 10 days after we accepted at our 2nd choice, my husband got a call from School #1. They had a spot available for her.
After a day of discussion, my husband & I took the spot for her at school #1. Not sure what happened, but we were glad that she was able to attend.
So far, so good. We like the environment and just hope that she continues to enjoy learning. I’m happy that she’s there.
